Welcome to Ascension Preschool
Opening hours are 5 mornings each week term time only.
Monday - Friday 9.15am - 12.15pm
We offer 3, 4, or 5 mornings each week for children aged between 2 and 5 years.
We believe children need a well planned and resourced curriculum to take their learning forward, and in order to provide this we have long, medium, and short term plans and we follow the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum. Each Child's progress is monitored by their own key worker and to ensure their achievements can be celebrated a brief written report is given to parents at the end of each term.
Each day your child will have the opportunity to progress in the six areas of learning through a wide variety of activities. Milk or water is provided daily along with a healthy snack. We encourage children to be independent and make healthy choices.
We encourage daily contact with parents and carers and are keen to develop a two way flow of information about your child. We value your opinion and encourage parents to offer comments or suggestions.
We encourage children to visit the preschool with their parents several times, before they start, to allow them to get to know us.
