The aims of the Pre-school are to encourage children to:
Develop their independence and confidence to enable to them to tackle all new and exciting challenges.
Reach their full potential in all areas of development.
Be sociable and have respect for each other.
Have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic about learning.
Have curiosity and confidence to ask questions and so enhance their learning.
Have strong listening skills.
All activities include language, not all activities result in an end product for your child to take home. The aim of all our activities is to challenge the children to explore new concepts and ideas at an attainable level. This enables them to complete the task at hand, giving them a positive attitude to learning and boosting self-esteem and confidence. Much of our work with the children is done through conversation, explaining, discussing and listening to them, helping them to become articulate and broadening their vocabulary.
We have a brand new all weather garden surface. This fantastic addition to our Pre-school enables children to use the garden everyday come rain or shine!
